Applications:
DOTP plasticizer serves as an excellent primary plasticizer for PVC products. In comparison to DOP, it provides superior heat resistance, anti-freezing capabilities, minimal volatility, anti-taking properties, and enhanced flexibility. Due to its low volatility, it is ideal for creating wire and cable that operate in cold conditions and is extensively applied in 70°C-resistant cables (complying with International Electrotechnical Commission standards) and other soft PVC products. Furthermore, it is utilized in leatherette and films, serving as a plasticizer for PE alcohol butyral, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, cellulose nitrate, and synthetic rubber. Additionally, it functions as a coating additive, precision instrument lubricant, lubricant additive, or a softener for paper.
Package and storage
This product is securely packed in 200-liter galvanized iron drums, each with a net weight of 200 kg per drum. It should be stored in a dry, shaded, and well-ventilated location to maintain its quality.
